Is it possible to have perfect skin?

While I'm not certain that I'd use the descriptive "perfect" to describe beautiful looking skin, I do know there are several activities that will enhance your skin's natural beauty.

First and foremost - EXERCISE! Yes, I know, there was cringing involved after reading that word. Exercise doesn't have to be strenuous. It can be yoga or a leisurely walk. Getting yourself into a regular habit of activity other than sitting around, will for sure provide many benefits to your body.

Second - Wash your face religiously! How many of you wash your face twice a day? Allow me to put this idea into perspective for you. Let's say you wash regularly every morning. That's great, but think about the pollutants floating in the air outside, on your walk to work, or in the elevator or the germs from the person sitting next to you just sneezed into the air. Or second hand smoke from the restaurant where you had lunch. All that grime and dirt collects and adheres itself to the oils on your skin. If you don't wash them off before heading to bed, it all seeps into and clogs your pores. Ick! Now go wash your face! (I have some handy dandy Mary Kay Cleansing Cloths that I can sell you!)

Third - Use toner. After cleansing, toner not only finishes the job, by taking off every last bit of filth, but you need it to balance the PH in your skin.

Fourth - SPF. UV rays are damaging to the skin, we all know this. Use a sunscreen or a moisturizer with an SPF of 25 or higher. (Check out Mary Kay's TimeWise moisturizer with SPF 25).

Fifth - Eat healthy. That chocolate dessert isn't doing your skin, or your hips, any good! Limit caffeine, alcohol and eliminate sugars. Try taking a multi-vitamin and drinking green tea instead of soda. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, too.

Sixth - Stay hydrated. Water does a body good!

Seventh - Go easy on the make-up. If you're not taking good care of your skin, no color enhancements are going to cover the flaws.
